Warranty Coverage
The Software City offers a 180-day product warranty, which covers replacements only for:
- Defective product keys
- Incorrect versions purchased
Refund Policy
Refunds are granted exclusively when our support technician is unable to install the software after providing full technical assistance. We exhaust all available support options before a refund is considered.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Once a downloadable software product is delivered to your email, it is non-returnable and non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued when:
- Customers change their minds about the purchase
- Customers discover compatibility issues with their system
- Customers lack technical expertise to install the product
- The product has already been delivered and activated
Product Key Restrictions
Permanent Activation Lock
Microsoft product keys become permanently locked once activated. Once the product key has been redeemed and added to your Microsoft account, it is permanently assigned and cannot be returned or refunded.
This means:
- Keys cannot be transferred after activation
- Activated keys cannot be refunded
- No returns allowed on activated licenses
Error Reporting Window
Customers must report redemption errors within 30 days of purchase. Claims filed after 30 days receive no compensation. Support must be contacted immediately upon discovering any issues with your product key.
Exchange Policy
Exchanges are permitted within 30 days if:
- Software is determined to be defective
- Technical support is unable to resolve activation issues
- Product proves incompatible after technical intervention
