Lifetime License

Microsoft Project Standard 2024 Lifetime License

License for:
Project

In stock — delivers in 15–30 minutes

Above ↑ is the product. Below ↓ is why $99.99 once beats a Project Plan 1 seat that renews every month.

Why this license

Five reasons buyers choose perpetual over subscription

No fluff. Each card is a single, defensible claim — backed by a number you can verify.

Yours, Not Rented

One payment. Perpetual license. The day after you install, you don’t owe Microsoft another dollar — for as long as your PC runs.

Microsoft Partner Channel

Verified Microsoft Partner — listed in Microsoft’s official Partner Directory. Click and check before you buy. Most resellers can’t make that offer.

15-Minute Delivery

Pay, then check your inbox. Product key and download link arrive in 15–45 minutes. Most orders deliver before you finish a coffee.

180-Day Replacement

If your key ever fails to activate in 180 days, we replace it. No restocking fee. No “just one moment, sir.” A real human, same day.

Save vs Project Plan 1

Project Plan 1 costs $10/user/month = $120/year. Five years = $600 per seat. This perpetual license is $99.99. Once.

The seat-license math nobody runs at renewal time

Pay Once. Use It Through Two Project Cycles.

No minimum seats. No cloud lock. No annual renewal.

$600.00 spent over 5 years on one Project Plan 1 seat — per user

The seat-license that never ends

Here’s what nobody tells you when IT signs up for Project Plan 1. $10.00 per user, per month. Sounds manageable. Then the team grows. Then the renewal invoice arrives. Then someone asks why a solo PM managing one client’s build timeline is paying a per-seat SaaS bill every single month.

Cloud lock is the other half. The moment you cancel, your .mpp files open read-only at best. Timeline views disappear. Reports break. Everything you built in the tool — gone from edit mode overnight.

And for individual PMs, freelancers, and small firms: you never needed the multi-user cloud dashboards anyway. You needed Gantt charts, resource leveling, and critical-path analysis — which have been in the desktop app since 2003.

Project Standard 2024 is the perpetual desktop license.

You pay once. You install once. The .mpp file format is the same. The Gantt engine is the same. The resource-leveling algorithm is the same.

No subscription. No minimum seats. No Azure AD entanglement. When your project closes and you move on, the license stays yours — ready for the next one.

The only thing you give up vs a Project Online plan: the web-browser access and cross-team cloud views. If you’re managing projects from a desktop — which most individual PMs do — you won’t notice the difference.

You pay $99.99. Once. The license outlives the project.

But there’s one thing about this license you should know before you buy.
Standard or Pro?

Standard covers every core PM feature. Here is how it stacks up against Pro.

SharePoint Task List Sync

Pro only. Two-way sync keeps your Project schedule in lock-step with a SharePoint task list. If your team tracks work in SharePoint, Standard is a dead end.

Project Server + Online Integration

Pro only. Publish and pull projects from on-prem Project Server or Project Online (Plan 3/5). Standard cannot connect to either.

Master Projects + Sub-projects

Pro only. Consolidate multiple .mpp files into a master project — essential for portfolio PMs managing more than one concurrent project.

Project Baselines Limited

Standard saves 1 baseline — your original plan snapshot. Pro saves up to 11 baselines so you can track scope drift across multiple project phases side by side.

Resource Leveling Limited

Standard levels resources on a single-project basis. Pro adds cross-project resource leveling across multiple active .mpp files simultaneously.

Demand Management

Pro only. Proposal and demand management for enterprise PMOs to compare and prioritize projects against resource capacity.

Gantt Charts + Dependencies

Both editions include the full Gantt engine — task dependencies, milestones, critical path, and timeline view. No difference here.

Resource Assignment + Cost Tracking

Assign people and equipment to tasks, track budget vs actuals, and see cost variance — available in both editions.

Critical Path Analysis

The critical path algorithm runs identically in both editions. Standard does not cut this.

Earned Value Management (EVM)

CPI, SPI, BCWS, ACWP — full EVM metric suite built in to both editions. No difference.

Most project managers who land here for Standard end up choosing Pro once they see the SharePoint and baseline rows.

Questions project managers asked before buying

No marketing fluff. Just the questions that actually came in.

Is this a real, legitimate Microsoft license?
Yes. We’re a verified Microsoft Partner, registered in Microsoft’s Partner Directory — the same directory Fortune 500 IT departments use to vet vendors. Your key is a retail FPP (Full Package Product) license, the same license type Microsoft sells at full price. Verify our Partner listing →
Project Standard vs Project Professional — which do I need?
Standard is right for you if you manage your own projects independently — you’re a solo PM, freelancer, or small-team lead who needs Gantt charts, resource leveling, critical path, and cost tracking. You need Professional if your organization runs Project Server or SharePoint task-list sync, you need to save and compare multiple baselines, or you do portfolio-level demand management. Professional adds four capabilities Standard lacks: SharePoint sync, Project Server integration, multiple baselines (up to 11), and demand management. The price difference is $5. If you’re not sure, Standard almost always covers individual project management work.
Will my key activate on the first try?
In our records, 99.6% of keys activate cleanly on the first attempt. The other 0.4% are typically a Microsoft account conflict or a regional mismatch — fixable in 5–10 minutes with our live chat. If your key truly doesn’t work, we replace it free, same day, no escalation queue.
Is this the same as Project for the web or Project Online?
No — these are fundamentally different products. This is Microsoft Project Standard 2024 desktop: a perpetual, locally-installed application you own outright. Project for the web and Project Online (Plan 1/3/5) are cloud subscriptions — browser-based, per-user monthly billing, different UI. The desktop Standard edition has the full Gantt engine, resource leveling, critical-path analysis, and cost tracking. Most individual PMs prefer the desktop because it’s faster, more feature-rich for scheduling, and doesn’t require a browser.
Can I open .mpp files from Project Pro users or colleagues using Project Online?
Yes. Project Standard 2024 has full read/write compatibility with .mpp files regardless of how they were created — desktop Standard, desktop Pro, or Project Online. If a colleague shares a .mpp file, you open and edit it locally with no version conflicts. The limitation is real-time cloud collaboration and SharePoint sync — those require Project Professional or a Project Online subscription. For file exchange, Standard is fully compatible.
Is this compatible with Mac?
No — Microsoft Project Standard 2024 is Windows only. There is no Mac version of Project. Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) required. If you’re on a Mac and need project management software, Project for the web (Plan 1, $10/month) runs in any browser including Safari — that’s the only Microsoft option for macOS.
Can I install it on more than one PC?
One license, one PC — Microsoft retail rule, same as Office. If you have a work PC and a home PC, you need two licenses. To move the license to a new machine, deactivate it in your Microsoft account first, then reactivate on the new hardware. For multi-seat team deployments, live chat us — single invoice, bulk pricing available.
How fast will I get the key?
15 to 45 minutes for most orders — many land under 20 minutes. Worst case (overnight on a US holiday with a manual fraud review): under 24 hours. If you need it before a project kickoff meeting, ping our live chat before checkout and we’ll prioritize.
What if I lose the email with the key?
Two backups: your key is stored in your account on this site (log in any time to retrieve it), and our team can re-issue it from our records if both your inbox and account are inaccessible. Nobody loses access permanently.
How long is this version supported by Microsoft?
Project Standard 2024 mainstream support runs through October 2029 — roughly five years from release. Extended security updates continue beyond that. For most project managers, that’s two to three full project lifecycle spans on a single license investment. After mainstream support ends, the software keeps working; it just stops receiving new feature updates.
Can I get an invoice for my company or accountant?
Yes — itemized PDF invoice with our company details and your business name (add it at checkout). Tax-deductible as a software expense in the US, Canada, and Australia under standard rules. For bulk orders (5+ seats), live chat us — we’ll get you a quote and a consolidated invoice.
What if Microsoft revokes my key?
We’ve shipped over 12,000 retail FPP keys across our catalog. Revocations in normal use: zero. Project Standard 2024 is a standard retail perpetual license — once activated to your Microsoft account, it’s stable. Don’t share the key publicly or post screenshots of it, and you’re fine. If anything does go wrong within 180 days, we replace it free, no escalation.

Buy Once. Own Forever. $99.99.

Project Plan 1 charges $10.00 per user, per month — $120.00 a year. Five years per seat: $600.00. For cloud dashboards most individual PMs never use.

This license charges you $99.99. Once. Same Gantt engine. Same .mpp format. Same resource-leveling and critical-path analysis. No subscription. No minimum seats. No renewal invoice arriving every October.

By the time we send you the key — 15 minutes from now — Project Standard 2024 will be installed and activated on your Windows PC. Permanently. Not until your project closes. Not until next year. Permanently.

P.S. Project Standard 2024 mainstream support runs through October 2029. That’s roughly five years of full Microsoft support from the 2024 release — more than enough runway to run multiple project lifecycles on a single $99.99 investment. After mainstream support ends, your software keeps working; it just stops receiving feature updates. Most project managers don’t notice the difference. Save vs Project Plan 1 subscription: $600.00 over five years per seat.
